“Why should I be wrong?”

Sometimes parents just dont understand you. I don’t think mine ever do. But it’s totally cool because that’s what grandparents are for. I’m really fortunate because not only are mine still alive, but I grew up really close to, and with them. Every week before hebrew school  my grandma would pick me up with a freshly cut red pepper and we’d spend the afternoon shopping and eating Mrs. Fields brownies. Which is actually really special because one time I asked my mom for the same brownie and she not only refused me at $3.29– but caused a full scale riot in the food court. Or maybe that was me. Whatever.

I’ve been talking to my grandma a lot this week and thought I’d share some of her pearls of wisdom:

On celebrity adoption: I’d like 2 get adopted 2 old!

On SCW reaching 10,000 views: u r famous

On periods no more: the perks of getting old. that and cheaper movies

On pictures of me: u look like a model

On my love for the ethnically ambig: U do have that thing

On kissing someone who sticks their tongue in your mouth like a dead fish: drop him back in the ocean. ugh.
