For the Love of Windows

My fascination with store windows was born out of the torture I was subjected to while growing up. As a teenager my parents derived pleasure out of taking their three daughters to the mall in Boca Raton, Florida simply to look and window shop if you will. They would break this news to us right as we entered the sliding doors with little chance of escape. And not only did they stick to their word where no shopping was done, but this little family day gimmick happened over and over again!

So much so, that after spending such time looking and not shopping, the windows began to speak to me, calling out for me to appreciate their beauty, to read their story and partake in their dramatics. For behind the glass is a world of make believe, imagination and story telling; a world where adults still play dress up (I played with Barbies until I got my license practically) and anything is possible. A world where fashion and art really come alive!
